When I heard who made this game, I knew I had to try it. I loved Shantae and the sequel, plus theyre a pretty great company. As for the game itself, its pretty solid. The first things youll notice are the excellent graphics and music. Both really added to the game experience. The voice acting was also amazing, and thats good because it can be hard to find talent sometimes. But the parts I pay the most attention to in any game are the characters and the story. Sadly the human characters felt slightly flat, however the ghostly antagonists were actually (for the most part) well written. One of their backstories had me crying inside a little. The plot was intriguing and well paced, if a little predictable. I was hooked... Right until the end where everything fell apart. I was promised the "truth", and got nothing I didnt know. In what looks like an attempt to set up for a sequel, they only ended up making everything confusing. I almost felt a little cheated. But overall, its really worth a shot to see how you like it. Maybe youll be different from me and find its your new favorite game. Just one more minor complaint: One thing that would be nice is the ability to repeat the boss battles. I dont feel like starting a whole new game every time I fail to meet an achievement requirement.

Absolutely entertaining game, especially to put you in Halloween mood. This game isnt supposed to be scary (try "Lost Within" or "5 nights at Freddys" instead), but the absolutely amazing graphics, audio and ambiance (you should play with headphones) is worth it for all age ranges! The puzzles are very simple and easy to solve as long as you are diligent at finding missing pieces (hint: look into cracks and drawers!!!), while the battles require some quick reflexes! Bottom line: a console quality game for mobile platforms that justifies the $6.99 price tag!

<3:) Im so in love this game has the best story line a game could ever have the whole way the game works together using every possible ability will leave you in awe the only thing I would have to say is it would be nice to have a weapons inviting instead of having to go back and forth just to get weapons and then you should add transportation to places you have been before would save a lot of walking time

Spent many hours playing this game. The effects are amazing and script well thought out. Id recommend this to ages 13 and up

From the description, seemed to be a fun game. I just couldnt get into it. The battles with monsters was very repetitive and got boring real quick. Puzzles were lackluster and I found myself just losing interest.

I bought the bundle because I said: "Two games for a good price". I ended up having more fun with this one. A great variety of puzzles that are challenging but not to the point of frustration, instead it can be solved if we take our time. Plenty of hours of game play and a surprisingly gripping story. Voice acting couldnt be better. And even though it wasnt meant to be scary, it still has that tense and dark atmosphere. Overall its a must have for anyone wanting to spend a good time with creative puzzles and an exciting adventure.

Loved this game. Every minute. Just finished it and now Im hoping there may be a sequel. Pretty please. Its not often you find games like this for an app. Or anything anymore. =^.^=

The game would be great if you could set the monsters to different difficulties. Some of the scenes are very difficult, especially the ones with the bad guys. I some how managed to get to the last scene but it defeated me. My dexterity was not good enough. I hate when that happens and I cannot complete a game.

Really fun game. Not too difficult and easy to follow where you are supposed to go and what you are supposed to go. Really nice story line and a good length of game play. Really enjoyed this one. Please make another one along these lines.

I really loved playing this game! I really enjoyed the storyline and the graphics. You can really tell that a lot of creativity and effort was put into making this game. I really wish there was a sequel made to the game though. Because it sure did end with a cliffhanger. Please make a sequel!!!!

The game looks great but the combat is bad very hard dont like the this doesnt work just do a normal combat system the timed sequence style never works right or have 2 different types of combat styles just cant get this one to work good work on the music and graphics though

This is a pretty fun game because it has lots of puzzles featuring twisted and dark stories. You play Erica- a teen who gets locked in a haunted house by two bitchy girls from her school. She has to go from room to room fighting evil spirits that used to occupy the house as well as these viscous snakes and flying beasts. Not too complicated but does require some strategy. Witty dialogue and narrative is a plus. Some aspects can be a bit repetitive. Id give it a B overall.
